When the Sexton of a small village has a toothache, he goes to the doctor who happens to be away on personal business. Left in charge is a young, enthusiastic, but, alas, inexperienced medical student, Kuryatin. The escapades begin.
The Drowned Man
Searching for an idea for a story, our writer takes a walk on the pier and meets some very interesting, if not off-kilter, characters.
What happens when a rakish young man tries to come between a contented husband and his beautiful young wife?
This finely crafted piece shows the talents of both Monsieurs Simon and Chekhov in their very best light.
