The Oasis is currently in production of Anton Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, this classic tale of love and jealousy in the country. It is amazing how relevant this 114-year-old play is, as characters talk about global warming, women’s rights, and the consequences of infidelity. The cast is as follows:
Nicholas Ballas – Dr. Astrov
Jody Durham – Yelena
Joey Beth Gilbert – Sofya (Sonya)
Armando Hernandez – Yefim (Workman)
James Jenner – Uncle Vanya
Argos MacCallum – Telegin (Waffles)
Steven Oakey – Professor Serebryakov

JoJo Sena-Tarnoff – Voynitzkaya Mariya
The play runs October 11 through October 28, Thursday, Friday, Saturday @ 7:30 p.m. and Sunday @ 3:00 p.m.
